1.Let me (do something)
如果想禮貌些,但仍然表現得十分親密友好,那麼就可以說「let me...」
Let me sit you up so you‘ll be more comfortable.
讓我幫妳坐起來,那樣妳會更舒服。
- That‘s a good question. Let me find out for you.
這是個好問題。我來幫解答。
2.Do you want me to/Do you want sth?
如果妳對于對方接受幫助的意愿十分沒有把握,那麼直接問吧。
Do you want me to sing it for you?
妳要我為妳而唱嗎?
在口語中,還可以省掉開頭的「do」,
- You want to meet up after class and go over it?
妳想不想下課后碰一下,我幫妳重新過一遍?
3.Would you like me to/Would you like sth
和上一種表達類似,但更為正式些,可以對顧客使用,也可以是比較疏遠的人。
Would you like me to throw them away?
想我幫妳扔了嗎?
4.I can (do something)
I can...也是一種禮貌的提供幫助的表達。比如商場里的店員對顧客說,
I think I can fix this for you.
我想我可以幫妳修好。
5.I‘d be happy to
這也是正式用法,常用于商務場合和專業人士間。
- I‘d be happy schedule a time to meet and talk with you about it.
我很樂意安排時間和妳會面探討這個問題。
6.May I offer you(something)?
這是非常正式的提供幫助的表達方式,聽起來有些浮夸。
May I offer you some refreshment?
我給妳來點吃的怎樣?
